Joanne Helperin

Writer & Editor

Contact: [email protected] I write and edit features, ad copy, marketing collateral, news, blogs, social media content, public relations and non-profit materials. I'm primarily (though not exclusively) consumer-focused, with specialties in consumer advice, finance/business, health/medical, lifestyle, and automotive. An instinctive storyteller and a UCLA MBA, I'm insatiably curious and a tenacious researcher. I smile easily and laugh often. A native New Yorker relocated to L.A., I still miss the fall foliage... and the bagels.

Louise Pool

Article Writer and Blogger

Louise Pool is an avid writer with a truly cross-cultural background. Born in Japan to Seychellois/Swiss parents, she attended an international school for six years, before continuing her education in Switzerland. Louise has a natural affinity for languages, but is most comfortable writing in her native language English. Louise is an experienced writer in many different fields. She has written both witty and informative magazine articles and blog posts as well as sizzling sales copy. She worked in the pharmaceutical field for several years and has copy edited and translated several medical research papers, so she is more than familiar with medical terminology. She writes amusing and informative posts on her personal blog Island Wench and is never stuck for ideas. Louise has a strong dislike for anything canned, be it canned writing or canned peas. She does, however, make an exception for tuna.

Craig Robert Brown

Writer | Coffee Fiend

My story so far. In 2009, I entered the MFA Creative Writing program at the University of New Hampshire. I graduated in 2011 and immediately went into debt. It was worth every penny. For a long time, I was a freelance writer, but that got lonely. So, I combed my hair and started living my #adlife working for a few different agencies and media publications as full-time staff. My copy can be found in print, digital, and social media advertising campaigns for technology, sustainability, retail, manufacturing, and telecommunications brands. Also, my arts, culture, travel, food, humor and fiction writing can be found online and in print. I live in Austin, Texas and eat too many tacos. That's a lie. There's no such thing as too many tacos. I’m inspired by a lot of art and photography, especially when it’s made by my wife. Below is a (very) small sample of my writing for various clients and campaigns.
