Susan Malandrino

Strategic Communications & Editorial Leader | Enterprise Storytelling & Organizational Impact

I’m a senior communications and editorial strategy leader with more than 20 years of experience helping complex organizations communicate with clarity, credibility, and purpose—especially during moments of change. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and leadership alignment. From enterprise narratives and executive messaging to global campaigns and crisis response, I help organizations translate strategy into communications that inform, engage, and move people forward. I specialize in building integrated communications systems that connect people to mission, culture, and direction—across internal and external channels. My experience spans nonprofits, federal agencies, and mission-driven organizations where trust, consistency, and thoughtful storytelling are essential to performance and engagement. I’ve partnered closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to shape messages that resonate across diverse audiences, guide organizational change, and reinforce shared purpose. Whether developing executive thought leadership, advising on company-wide communications moments, or designing long-term editorial frameworks, I bring a steady, strategic lens and a deep respect for the people behind the work. At my core, I’m driven by curiosity and a belief that strong organizations are built on clear communication. The most effective stories don’t just inform—they connect, align, and create momentum. The clips, stories, and multimedia projects below reflect the people, missions, and ideas I’ve had the privilege to help amplify.
