Editor & Writer
My three favorite things are baseball, writing, and editing. I've been a baseball fan since I was nine years old, and I have turned that enthusiasm into a full-time role as a Senior Content Producer for Major League Baseball. In addition to editing stories and webpages for MLB.com, I'm also a co-director for the Internet Baseball Writers' Association of America, and I co-hosted a Mets podcast called Cohen's Corner. With my work, I aim to inspire other sports fans to find their voice and express themselves confidently. My writing has been published by MLB.com, the Baseball Hall of Fame, IBWAA, The Twin Bill, Rising Apple, and Girl at the Game. I graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia with majors in Marketing and Management, a concentration in Advertising and Digital Media, and a minor in English. If you need a hand in any of the following areas, I would love to help: • College essays • Copy editing (short and long-form work) • Fact-checking • Any kind of writing (articles, blurbs, blogs, headlines, etc.) • SEO strategy You can reach me at [email protected] or via the contact link below.

Multimedia Journalist
I'm a Brooklyn-based journalist reporting on community-centered stories across New York City. My work can be found in outlets like the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, Brooklyn Paper, W42ST and The Chief. I started my journalism career in elementary school, when I published a handwritten weekly paper covering local news for three years, and reported on events like the 2010 Winter Olympics for TIME For Kids. I continued telling stories through high school and college as a TV news host, local reporter, editor of the school newspaper and director of three feature documentaries, one of which received a College Emmy. For the past three years, I've been a freelance reporter in NYC filing stories on a wide range of beats, but with a particular focus on housing, local business, education, and human-interest topics. From 2023 to 2025, I got to tell the stories of students and educators across the country as a marketing associate for Equal Opportunity Schools, an education nonprofit. I've shared clips from some of the interviews I filmed below.

Senior marketing copywriter with AEO/GEO, branding and content creation expertise.
Who I am: Hi there 👋 I’m Dan — a seasoned copywriter, curious storyteller, avid reader and amateur pumpkin farmer. What I do: I craft clear, compelling copy that fits each brand’s voice and drives results. My work spans web, social, email, print, video, radio, and outdoor — helping clients across nearly every industry connect with their audiences in ways that feel authentic and perform in search. I write with AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) principles in mind — structuring content for both people and algorithms. That means building trust through clarity, experience and expertise so brands can be more visible in an AI-driven search landscape. Why I do it: Over the past decade, I’ve worked in both agency and in-house settings, partnering with creative, strategy, and media teams to develop integrated campaigns that make an impact. I love the collaboration and problem-solving that go into every brief — from concept to conversion. Get to know me: • I love keeping up with evolving trends in SEO, AEO and content marketing through courses and webinars. • I’m passionate about sustainability and always up for a conversation about reducing your impact. • Most weekends, you’ll find me with my wife and two sons — usually outside, always exploring!
