I am a hardworking individual with a strive to be successful. My self-motivation and initiative, along with my diligence and enthusiasm, allow me to work equally well independently or as part of a team. In working independently I am reliable and able to remain under pressure, as well as working in a group where I am able to communicate well and put my ideas across. I'm currently in my third year of University studying Journalism, our roles include being Editor, Presenter, Reporter, social media operator, floor manager and many more. With each role we work to obtain a professional environment as well producing a successful news day. My interests are mainly creativity, broadcast, radio, magazine, music and fashion. Hoping to prosper in one if not all of these fields my main priority is gaining as much experience professionally as possible as well as getting a degree and job in this field. I also have a passion for creative writing.
Content Strategist, MKTG Team Lead
Shannon Vize has been turning her penchant for sarcasm and ability to absorb information on any topic into relatable, witty copy and branded content for a variety of clients and platforms since 2015. She currently develops, writes, and manages the content marketing strategy at Mondo. She enjoys the challenge of adopting different brand voices and transforming complex issues, articles, and ideas into fact-driven, fresh takes the target audience can rely on, while her relatability and unique voice keep readers coming back. She produces her best work when it aligns with her passions: politics, tech, feminism, and the myriad of viewpoints on how the three intersect.
My full name is Alexandra Rivera, though I prefer to go by Sasha. I am an undergraduate student at Scripps College and I intend to dual major in English and French; I also plan to go to graduate school. I began my journalistic career as a contributing writer and later an assistant editor for the Opinion section in my high school newspaper, The Bull's Eye. I have written for The Scripps Voice and I was a columnist for The Student Life; both are newspapers for my college campus. I am also the new Editor-in-Chief for the Scripps College sector of the Odyssey, an online newspaper and social content platform. Currently, I write for Pink Bubble Magazine. I can write many different types of articles and essays on a diverse range of topics, though I prefer to focus on social justice issues and pop culture. The articles below are some of my most popular, though you can read more of my work on the websites of each individual publication.
