Explore. Dream. Discover... For me, it's all about being creative! I've got seven years of experience delivering marketing and communications to drive business development and enhance brands. I thrive in creative environments, and organisations where I can really have hands-on impact in growing brands and offering strategic insight. A wordsmith, I love playing around with words – crafting stories and clever copy to hook people in. I'm a bit of an arts and culture geek, as well as an outdoors lover. In my spare time, you can find me, and my adventurer spirit, exploring outside, hiking, skiing, and more. That, or blogging for The Rootist (my personal blog), or checking out the latest creative events in town. Contact: [email protected]

Dad. IB history teacher. dog walker. The clips on here are from a while ago. What I write now are short stories and novellas that are a blend of fiction and non-fiction. After a couple years of writing a collection of them I am sending them out to publishers this summer! The limit on this website is 9 "clips" and almost all the ones I uploaded are via PDF, which only open on computers, or at least not on iPhones. For inquiries contact [email protected]

Writer & Journalist
A writer and journalist with some 15 years' experience working on B2B titles in print and online, writing news, features, set-piece interviews, political and social commentary. My work has covered housing, construction, technology, politics and public policy, business, industry and more.
After gaining his masters from the University of Salford, Leon drank himself into a corner working as a Court Reporter at Manchester Crown Court (wouldn't you?); lost the will to live writing "isn't everything wonderful" bullshit for a local advertising magazine; and enjoyed a failed stint as the editor of Old Trafford News. His writing has been described as " not quite what we are looking for" and is published by Beatdom Books, International Times, Beat Scene Magazine, Newington Blue Press, Literary Heist, Empty Mirror, Erotic Review and TheGayUK. In January 2019, he became a member of the European Beat Studies Network, an academic community of scholars, writers and artists concerned with the Beat Generation.
