Chloe McInnes

Tech Team Lead & UX Copywriter, Booking.com

Current role As a Tech Team Lead and UX Copywriter, I have two main goals. The first is to manage Developers and Designers, as well as work closely with a Product Owner to drive the success of my team. The second is to create a copy strategy, centred around the customer, that perpetuates lines of experimentation. Every piece of copy I write is A/B tested and I analyse the data to determine the success of improvements I want to implement. I also work closely with User Researchers and Data Scientists, creating roadmaps that will inform my decisions and align with the wider business goals. Previous experience As a Digital Copywriter for Selfridges, I wrote engaging and eloquent copy for a luxury, international ecommerce site. Working alongside the UX and SEO teams, I helped implement tests that drove user engagement. Prior to this role, I honed my skills writing copy for a flash sales site, online production, launching a campaign for Smythson, an intranet redesign and writing content for an on-boarding site. I also gained branding experience by supporting a start-up by writing copy across Social, Email and offline campaigns. At the same time, I wrote freelance articles for Scribol and Stanford Travel.

Penny Tristram

Copywriter and Blogger

The kindly people below have let me loose on their web content and copy for the past 5 years. Luckily, the results were greatly boosted SEO, press coverage, awards nominations (for them!) and more website/real-life visitors and sales. If you're hankering after gallery or artist website copy, an artist's statement, a press release, corporate web copy, creative digital content, or anything in that arena, contact me at [email protected]. I'm on Skype as pennypenny456. "Penny is great at content for products. Easy to work with and understands the way products should be described. We had a great experience with Penny and will continue to use her services." - Sean, Vaperit.co.uk 2016 " I really enjoy working with Penny, who produced very high quality work with a very fast turnaround. I will definitely work with her again in the future and I highly recommend her to anyone who is in need to produce quality, accessible art content." - Luca, Artist. 2015

Danielle Ray

Freelancer

Danielle graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in both English and music. She spent most of her time the university writing news and arts stories at The Michigan Daily. She is extremely passionate about both journalism and music, and her dream job would be combining those two passions by working at a music publication such as Pitchfork or Rolling Stone. At the Daily, Danielle also spent three years working on social media. The social media team was created her sophomore year. She joined the team, and she became managing editor of the section her junior year. She worked to improve and expand the section; in doing so, she recruited new team members, which effectively doubled the size of the section, and launched the Daily's now-thriving Snapchat account.
