Staff Writer, The American Genius & The Real Daily
I'm a multi-talented writer specializing in business and real estate news, with a special focus on social justice. I also write about organic farming, gardening, the outdoors, and the environment, and have done pro bono writing and editing for several nonprofits. My goal is to provide high-quality, accurate, and engaging writing. I pride myself in being cooperative, positive, and always punctual with deadlines. Said my editor, Lani Rosales, "Ellen is one of our most talented writers, flawlessly connecting with our audience. Her writing is always exactly what we're looking for, is without error, consistently engages the reader, and stands out. She is truly one of the best Staff Writers we've ever had on the team, and her gift transcends topic - she is a rare jewel." I am also a freelance copy editor and proofreader. VFX Production at day, Writer at night
Constantly overdressed and helplessly overeducated. Born in South Germany, raised in the Netherlands, graduated school in Belgium, faced higher education in Scotland, now working in England, citizen of Earth. I have a passion for all things media, from literature over films and games to YouTube, and try to capture all of that in writing. In my spare time I'm a fashion addict and lifestyle trends aficionado that still tries to convince her parents that all of this amounts to the life of an adult...

I'm a Montanan who's been living and travelling in Europe for years. I love creative writing and I'm pretty 'old school,' still using pen and paper for my short stories and poetry. My work writing, however, is strictly online. I have experience in most areas (web content; articles; blog posts; press releases; business plans; creative writing; editing; and recently writing video scripts and doing voiceovers). I specialize in travel writing and small business (ghost)blogging, but as long as it involves writing words well, I'm happy.
