I am a writer and editor with 20 years of experience working in journalism, public relations, marketing and communications. I've written for such industries as faith-based institutions, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, small-business marketing, health insurance, government, health care, and higher education. I've managed social media channels for faith-based, B2B, higher education and nonprofit organizations. Through concise, compelling copy, I deliver content that drives the reader to take action. I am a strategic thinker who regularly considers the wide-ranging impact a message could have on a variety of audiences and delivery systems. Journalist
I am in my final two semesters at SF State trying to soak up as much as I possibly can before I have to enter the real world. As a strong writer, I have always pictured myself as a print journalist, until last semester when I realized how much I also love video and audio. So now I am working on taking the right steps to create a future for myself that combines all my passions. I love investigative journalism because I have always had a persistent curiosity and love seeing the unexpected places stories lead to. I like meeting new people because there are so many untold stories waiting to be discovered. I know I was meant to be a journalist and become a storyteller for my community.
