Joanne Helperin

Writer & Editor

Contact: [email protected] I write and edit features, ad copy, marketing collateral, news, blogs, social media content, public relations and non-profit materials. I'm primarily (though not exclusively) consumer-focused, with specialties in consumer advice, finance/business, health/medical, lifestyle, and automotive. An instinctive storyteller and a UCLA MBA, I'm insatiably curious and a tenacious researcher. I smile easily and laugh often. A native New Yorker relocated to L.A., I still miss the fall foliage... and the bagels.

Louise Pool

Article Writer and Blogger

Louise Pool is an avid writer with a truly cross-cultural background. Born in Japan to Seychellois/Swiss parents, she attended an international school for six years, before continuing her education in Switzerland. Louise has a natural affinity for languages, but is most comfortable writing in her native language English. Louise is an experienced writer in many different fields. She has written both witty and informative magazine articles and blog posts as well as sizzling sales copy. She worked in the pharmaceutical field for several years and has copy edited and translated several medical research papers, so she is more than familiar with medical terminology. She writes amusing and informative posts on her personal blog Island Wench and is never stuck for ideas. Louise has a strong dislike for anything canned, be it canned writing or canned peas. She does, however, make an exception for tuna.

Jen Moreno

Multimedia Journalist etc

California born, world bound journalist who can quickly adapt to the ever evolving world we live in. I've been in the field of journalism since late 2006 and in that time I have covered a variety of topics: Breaking news, arts, human interest, community features and events, school newsletters, Christian music, college department newsletters, and keeping a blog while studying abroad in Florence, Italy. Print is and will always be home but I also have experience in radio and in front of the camera, as well as behind. Journalism is an evolving field and so long as it continues to grow, so will I. I'm a natural storyteller, my job simply is finding out whose story to tell.
