Millis marches on, repeating as D8 Super Bowl champions - The Boston Globe

FOXBOROUGH - Hoosac Valley's high-octane attack has been impressive. Averaging 47.7 points per game, the Hurricanes lit up the scoreboard with 76 points in the Division 8 state semifinals. Millis, however, had the speed on the perimeter, along with the experience, to bottle up Hoosac Valley in Saturday's Division 8 Super Bowl, shutting out the Hurricanes, 37-0, at Gillette Stadium to repeat as state champion.

Holliston captures second straight Division 4 Super Bowl title - The Boston Globe

FOXBOROUGH - The Holliston offense needed a couple of drives to get into a rhythm in the Division 4 Super Bowl against Chicopee Comp at Gillette Stadium on Saturday. Brighton's scoring bonanza sinks Lowell Catholic - The Boston Globe

It took the Brighton offense a few drives to really settle in on Friday night in a Division 4 North sectional semifinal against Lowell Catholic, but once it did it was lights out for Lowell Catholic. Brighton took a 6-0 lead into the second quarter before finding its groove and exploding for 58 more points as the Bengals defeated Lowell Catholic, 64-0.

From an early age, Kevin Fruwirth was impressing people with his ability to throw a football. Daniel Fruwirth, Kevin's father, remembers a day when Kevin was 7 and tossing a football around during his dad's slow-pitch softball game. Everyone said that little Kevin was going to be a quarterback.

Holliston shuts out Wahconah in Division 4 Super Bowl - The Boston Globe

Central Catholic outlasts Andover - The Boston Globe

LAWRENCE - The Division 1 North semifinal between Central Catholic and Andover was a back-and-forth contest featuring two of the state's best offenses. There was no lack of scoring Saturday night - especially with Andover quarterback EJ Perry throwing for 601 yards - but in the end it was Central Catholic that made more plays to win, 49-41.
