steven viney

journalist/editor

i'm a journalist and editor who has spent the best part of the last 20 years travelling the world and telling stories of people living throughout Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and most recently: Australia. i'm most interested in taking a long-term view of consequential international news events that have lasting impacts on global affairs, as well as human stories that give voice to neglected or marginialised subjects and peoples. the works below are a sample of some of my favourite digital storytelling pieces and international news features, in addition to samples of my non-journalistic creative writing, poetry and research. if you're enquiring about an interview or looking for more detail about any of the stories or information below, email is the best mode of contact.

Sophia Redjeb

Jorja

Writer, editor and entrepreneur

Hello! I'm Jorja (or Jo); content writer, marketing specialist, and editor living in Australia. With a background in digital marketing and a deep love for language, I help brands tell compelling stories that connect, convert, and resonate. Whether it's crafting blog content, building campaigns, refining brand messaging, or editing the finer details, I bring a sharp eye, creative flair, and strategic thinking to every project. I currently work with Uniqodo – a promotions technology company – where I lead content initiatives that drive engagement and position the brand as a thought leader in the eCommerce space. My work spans blog strategy, social media content, email marketing, case studies, and more. Outside of that, I run my own editing and proofreading business, Fixit! By Jo, where I help writers polish their work and uncover its deeper meaning. I’m passionate about writing pieces that challenge people to reflect, think critically, and connect with what they read on a deeper level. Let’s just say: if it involves storytelling, I’m in my element.
