Although I was born in the UK, I have lived and worked in several countries, including the US, Barbados, and Nigeria. CAREER SNAPSHOTS - During my time as a Senior Researcher at the Morehouse School of Medicine, I co-edited the book "Social Determinants of Health among African American Men" (2012). - I am the lead author of an article of the same name. - At Morehouse, I also coordinated the Community Health Leadership Program at the Satcher Health Leadership Institute. - Earlier in my career, I earned a Ph.D. in Social Policy from the London School of Economics. ​​MY WRITING In my writing, I aim to engage in courageous conversations, shed light on injustices, and empower marginalized communities. I am dedicated to bringing attention to topics that are often overlooked or disregarded by mainstream media. Additionally, my goal is to tackle these issues in a way that highlights the perspectives of those who are disenfranchised and/or voiceless, often necessitating a challenge to prevailing narratives.
