Jennifer Logue

Philly Features Editor Metro + National TV Editor at METRO // Founder of Rock On Philly // Freelance Writer + Reporter

Jennifer Logue is a singer/songwriter with a lot of soul and a knack for writing catchy hooks. Her music has appeared on MTV and ABC as well as film. She's performed at Virgin Mobile Freefest, CMJ, the Madeira Film Festival, and SXSW. Over the years, she’s expanded into ancillary fields — as a red carpet reporter, journalist, voiceover artist, photographer and in 2013, an entrepreneur when she founded the popular music website — Rock On Philly. Finding a niche for herself in all things Internet, music and lifestyle, she’s become sought after in the digital realm for her talent in building organic communities for established brands as well as startups. In 2016, she joined the team at Metro US as Philly Features Editor and National TV Editor in the hopes of adding value to their online and print platforms. You can follow her adventures weekly with the columns “Eat Like an Insider” and “Hot Plate,” which run on Thursdays in Philadelphia. Also be on the lookout for national stories in the Television section. When asked which role is her primary focus Jennifer says, “At the end of the day, I am an artist in everything I do. Whether it’s writing a story for a newspaper or writing a song or launching a new website for a brand, it’s all creative and exciting to me. Creative energy is like water. It takes the shape of its container and I’m having a blast seeing where the current takes me.” And will more music be coming soon? “Most definitely,” she says. Gillian O'Meagher

Freelance Writer

Having worked as a freelance writer and stylist for fifteen years, I pride myself on the ability to adapt the style of my text to any brief (in British English or American English). Recent commissions span features, interviews, blogs, ghost blogs, opinion pieces, LinkedIn profiles, ghost writing, automated responses, sponsorship letters, website text, email sequencing, sales text, social media content, script packages, thought leadership pieces and case studies. In the past I've provided text across a variety of formats: articles, profiles, advertorial, an exhibition catalogue, press material, introductory text for art publications, company newsletters, flyers—the list goes on. I’m very good with words. The majority of my recent work has been corporate non-disclosure. Clients include PR firms, trade publications, digital consultancies, company commissions and content agencies. I excel at high-quality copy specific to a client's needs. Today’s market calls for creative thinkers who can adapt to a changing world. Recent content contributions cover accessory branding, interior design, networking, dentistry, workplace training, digital ledger technology, fashion, education, veterinary, hospitality, e-commerce, real estate, law, construction, mining, engineering, cyber security, and food branding. Over the years I've covered television, fashion, arts, music, beauty, entertainment, lifestyle, film, tourism, pop culture, theatre, fiction, beauty, fitness, eco living, health and wellbeing, business, bridal, and interiors. I have a television blog at youmetv.blogspot.com.au and I’m an Instagram reviewer of Asian TV and film @watchawatching. I’ve provided promotional text for cinematic releases, and production scripts and schedules for music videos. Storytelling is my passion, and I’m working on a TV pilot pitch package, and feature film, with a New York based team. My novels Optimate, Sound and Otherplace are published under Gil Liane, as is the short story collection This Connect. Public speaking is included in my CV.
