Consumer journalist, copy & content writer.
I write about all sorts, from travel, lifestyle & relationships to wellbeing, wildlife and parenting. The last two are often interchangeable. I take photos, too. I was just celebrating a proper 'pinch me' run of travel commissions for The Telegraph and The Times (Peru; Iceland; North America; Thailand; Kenya...) when the pandemic hit. Adventure restricted to a cheeky G&T in Richmond Park (just a tin, mind — there was no suitcase), I spent lockdown creating content for private clients on topics as diverse as British contemporary art; partnership disputes; equal rights in the workplace; menopausal health, and astonishingly beautiful/ludicrously expensive jewellery. The widely differing subject matter was a Godsend in those Groundhog days. At least something changed, even if it wasn't the view. Plus, I now know my Boivin from my Bulgari, and the differences between Hambling, Hirst and HRT. (Only one of which I'm ever likely to own, but still.) Other clients include The Guardian; Sainsbury's Magazine; Family Traveller; Encounters Magazine; South China Morning Post; Janus Arts & Jewels; Experience Travel Group; Hilton; You Magazine; Mumsnet.com - the UK’s leading parenting website; takethefamily.com - the UK's leading family travel website; britainsfinest.co.uk and John Brown Publishing. Commissions include newspaper and magazine articles; web content; programme development; scriptwriting and PR projects.

Content Executive @ RMP Enterprise Assistant Editor/Writer @ Subscript.it Formerly: WeAreCollison, Insider -------- Betty Suarez is the reason why I decided to become a journalist. Yes, she’s a fictional character - but she represented everything I was at the time. A little shy and unsure, but headstrong with a voice that has always been best used through writing. I wrote horror fiction and R’n’B song lyrics in primary school, much to my teachers' chagrin, but something about writing soothed me and allowed me to speak when my mouth wouldn’t. Little did I know I could write for a living! I love everything to do with culture, lifestyle, and fashion. I am obsessed with how we live outside of the professional world and what makes us tick. You’ll find my nose in a magazine, especially if Mariah Carey is on the front cover. Still, I’m always interested in the latest fashion trends, which Youtuber is in another drama, and how to decorate your home. Outside of the profesh world, I bedazzle using Swarovski crystals, recently started collecting vinyl, and started drag during lockdown number one. All hobbies that require a money tree...joy. I love it all the same! -------- https://www.insider.com/author/melchi-anyinsah-bondzie https://www.subscript.it/author/melchia/
