In the last 8 years, Iowa has shifted to a more conservative state. Republicans have unified control over the state government, the entire delegation of Congress, and all but one of the statewide elected offices. The Blue (2008), Blue (2012), Red (2016), and Red (2020) voting pattern seemingly fluctuates along with college enrollment.
