Surfers Against Sewage are doing incredible work raising awareness of ocean plastic and other forms of pollution, so it was a real honour to arrange this interview with Hugo for T3. It was also a great opportunity for a budding writer (Esther) to get some editorial experience under her belt. And of course it serves as excellent supporting content for T3's surfing-related buyer's guides
I was Acting Editor on Acoustic magazine for issues 130, 131 and 132, and had a ball each month working on this title. The team was small but expert, and Acoustic had a great reputation in the music instrument industry. It's a real shame this mag has since closed, but during its tenure Acoustic made a big difference in raising the profile of younger singer-songwriters, as well as expanding the reach of more established artists such as Jason Isbell (pictured).
