I am a Human Resources Director for a growing dealership with three locations and over 100 employees. I graduated in May of 2018 with a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing and a minor in Communications. I handle benefits coordination, internet marketing, event planning, internal and external communications and more. My strengths include strategical planning, organizational communications, business innovation and insight, public speaking, and resource management. I currently serve on the Economic Development Board for the Village of Orfordville where I provide insight and help with marketing and promotional materials and plans. I, along with two other board members, helped create and organize a new village website. The project included transferring current info, developing new materials and info, and designing the site. I also worked on a sub committee that focused on advertising the village. During the development of our branding and advertising campaign I developed the tagline that we have chosen to brand the village with. I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce group, as well. I organized their Shop Small Saturday event in 2018, where I handled press releases, promotional materials, and internet marketing for the event. I have also created promotional materials and handled press releases for other village events.
This is a preliminary outline I put together to guide the discussion on where Economic Development should focus its energies and funds in our efforts to advertise the village.
This is a website I helped build with a team of two other ED members. We used Squarespace as a cost effective platform to build the website from.
A press release I created for the Shop Small Saturday event in 2018 that was sent out to numerous radio stations and newspapers.
After moving to the Village of Orfordville I developed the idea of creating a Welcome Letter for new residents. It would clue them in on important resources and information about the village and allow businesses to market their services to new residents. The letter would be mailed out with take out menus from local restaurants, coupons for local stores, a village events calendar, and more.
I designed this postcard for our annual March Mayhem event using a free program called Canva. The poster that is attached was also designed using Canva and coordinates with the Scratch Off tickets that all Service customers receive during this event. Both the scratch offs and postcards were ideas I created and developed for the event.
