The OPL has many events & programs available, but didn't have it's own print marketing materials for these programs. I offered to create a bookmark with a listing of their events & programs for 2023.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Illinois University in May of 2018 with a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing and a minor in Communications. I am the Orfordville Economic Development Committee Co-Chair where I work on Village branding initiatives, business relations, grant programs and resources and more. I also serve on the Community Engagement Committee where I assist in the planning & execution of events. I serve on the Orfordville Village Board as a Village Trustee. In all of these positions I work with other community minded individuals whose goals include the growth & prosperity of this wonderful community. I also have the privilege of handling a multitude of graphic design projects and public communications. I thoroughly enjoy providing insight with marketing and promotional programs and materials.

After moving to the Village of Orfordville I developed the idea of creating a Welcome Letter for new residents. It would clue them in on important resources and information about the village and allow businesses to market their services to new residents. The letter is delivered to new residents by a local police officer and comes with a goody bag full of take out menus, coupons, gift certificates, and other items from local businesses.
