Tanviya Sapru is a freelance journalism, film and digital communications consultant based in Berlin, Germany. Working primarily most recently in the media industry, Tanviya has worked for a number of organisations such as Channel 4 UK, Deutsche Welle, Greenpeace and others. She has played a significant role in helping develop ideas and content through social media management and analysis, digital communications, video production, writing and developing media relations and partnerships.
Alongside her growing career in various industries, Tanviya has worked as a journalist reporting on environmental and human rights issues predominantly in Germany, India and the UK. She has also been published in Exberliner magazine, Time out Bangalore, The Times of India, Habitat for Humanity and others.
Tanviya is currently working as a freelance journalist between Germany and India. In 2017, she received a BA (Honours) in Journalism at the London College of Communication and soon after was offered to work as a Social Media Editor for Deutsche Welle in Berlin.

Over the past few years the south Indian city of Bangalore has experienced a momentous change due to rapid urbanisation. "I am a Sierra Leonean myself and I personally never knew what climate change was until the floods last September when I saw the impact on the farmers and their crops." Africa is known to the world as a developing continent, rich with natural resources - among them diamonds, salt, iron and copper.
