I am an Irish-born writer based in Buenos Aires, where I have also worked as editor of the 2011 Time Out guide to Buenos Aires and deputy editor of Time Out Buenos Aires magazine.

One of my main areas of interest is reproductive rights, though I have written on various subjects, including travel, fashion and design.

My articles, reviews and travel writing have been published in the Irish Times, the Buenos Aires Herald and Time Out Buenos Aires; I have also contributed to a number of guidebooks.

My poetry (as Sophie Segura) has appeared in print and online journals such as The Well Review, Banshee and the Honest Ulsterman.
