I'm a writer and editor based in Norwich, UK. I'm a member of the Chartered Institute for Editing and Proofreading, and I hold an MA in Scriptwriting from the University of East Anglia.

I provide copywriting, copyediting, developmental editing and proofreading services for a wide variety of clients and manuscripts, ranging from fiction and academic theses to advertising and white papers. I have an acute attention to detail, and I'm passionate about helping others to achieve their best version of a piece in terms of ideas, form, structure, and of course, spelling and grammar. I work to an SEO and AI optimisation model when creating original content such as articles, blog posts and other web copy for a variety of organisations.

I also offer sensitivity reading services. This is an edit of your manuscript that assesses its accessibility and inclusivity for a wide range of people. I offer this service on a project by project basis. If I don't think that I am the right sensitivity reader for your project, I'll do my best to refer you to someone who might be a better fit.

My previous work writing scripts for theatre, film and audio has given me a knack for feeling the flow of a piece of work, and I'm always thinking of the best ways to match a creator's intention with their output.
