Samuel Poots is a writer and games designer from Northern Ireland, who communicates primarily through Pratchett quotes. He has written for tabletop games including Jim Henson's Labyrinth: The Adventure Game and Warhammer Fantasy Role Play, while his short stories have been featured by Daily Science Fiction, Toasted Cake, Tales to Terrify, Neon Hemlock, and elsewhere.

In the past, Sam worked as a teacher in Japan, a dead wilding on Game of Thrones, and spent a lot of time telling tourists at the Giant's Causeway he's the new 5ft 4in giant due to budget cuts. Now, he is in an Associate Editor for Cast of Wonders, the YA fiction podcast, and works freelance full time.
