Blues Shut Out by Predators, End 2016 on a Sour Note

On Friday night, the Blues fell behind early and never could find a rhythm. During the opening period, St. Louis outshot Nashville 9-6 but failed to score a goal or capitalize on a couple of power plays. Defensively, goalie Jake Allen had a rough outing, allowing three goals on 14 shots in his two periods of play.

St. Louis Blues Come Up Short in Offensive Showdown with Chicago Blackhawks

In a prelude to the Bridgestone Winter Classic at Busch Stadium, the St. Louis Blues faced off against the Chicago Blackhawks in St. Louis. St. Louis Blues Send Danny Kristo to Pittsburgh Penguins in Exchange for Reid McNeill

In a trade orchestrated by Pittsburgh Penguins General Manager Jim Rutherford, the St. Louis Blues sent right wing Danny Kristo to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for defenseman Reid McNeill. The deal, which was announced on Saturday morning, isn't all that surprising considering the recent personnel moves made by the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins.
