Hey Folks, I am Razim Patel from Dubai, entrepreneur, consultant, project manager, and intrepid traveler.
I have always had a passion for new cultures and new languages and I guess that really pushed me towards some of the career choices that I have made early on in life. I have lived and worked across four continents and have had the pleasure to call some of the following amazing places my home, New York, Toronto, Panama City, Dubai, Sydney, Cape Town, Lisbon, and Singapore to name a few!
My quest for exploration finally brought me to the alluring middle east and after much roaming and soul searching throughout the region I settled in Dubai. Having lived in Dubai for the last few years now, I have increasingly found my thoughts and imagination steering towards the great rivers, the mountains, the desserts, the Jungles, the steppes just on its doorsteps!
…And that’s where my journey begins with January 2019! I now passionately write about all that I have seen, tasted, touched and discovered over the past few months!

I worked in project management mostly in financial services and new emerging markets sectors.
Before that, I worked at UNHCR, traveled like a mad man, studied Farsi & Spanish and graduated from Business from Essex University.
I have since visited over 50 countries, including some really unique and remote regions of the world, and have some really mind-blowing and alluring tales to tell!
