I am a professional communicator with more than three decades of experience in public relations, broadcast writing, and speech writing. I'm also a skilled crisis communicator used to working under deadline circumstances.

In most everything I do, I rely on listening and storytelling to get to know the person in front of me. Developing this kind of empathy has been crucial in writing as well as my work as a hospital chaplain. I wonder, "Who is this human being and what are they trying to say?" I listen, guide, and help find that voice.

- Each of the stories shared below highlights a different aspect of my storytelling abilities, from news to academic to feature.

- I produced the 30-minute documentary, "Breaking the Stigma."

- Regarding the Annual Reports from Claremont School of Theology, "Growth" and "Progress:" As Director of Communication, I wrote nearly every article featured in the reports. I loved the process of collaborating with our faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as graphic designers. It's a time in my life I'll always cherish.

I look forward to collaborating with additional creative teams and sharing untold new stories.
