Mary Barnes is a senior at Baruch College in New York City, majoring in journalism and creative writing. Along with her studies, she works as a contributing writer for NKD Mag, an NYC based music and entertainment magazine. Her writing has also been featured in Baruch College's "Dollars & Sense" magazine, and on GreekRank.com. She interns for the Society of the Silurians, an organization for veteran journalists. Her journalistic interests are in music and entertainment, as well as showcasing interesting people from all walks of life. She also dabbles in creative writing, mainly in the drama, mystery, suspense and thriller genres.
