Madeline is a recent graduate of Oregon State University where she received a Bachelors of Science in Merchandising Management with a writing minor. During her time in college she wrote for Her Campus at OR State, The Odyssey Oregon State chapter, Sorority Lyfe, The Corvallis Review, and Sorority Girl Thoughts.
I wrote for Sorority Girl Thoughts, an online blog, from June-August 2015. I wrote about various sorority products as well as my own experience in sorority life and managed the Tumblr for the blog as well.
I wrote for Sorority Lyfe, an online publication, from September 2015-February 2016 and wrote 25 pieces for them ranging from talking about fraternity and sorority councils, to my own chapter experiences and even profile pieces on individual chapters such as Gamma Gamma Chi, the first Islamic based sorority.
I wrote for the Odyssey from Fall 2015-Winter 2016 and this is one of my favorite pieces that I wrote about my experience within Chi Theta Phi, a local social sorority at Oregon State University with a focus on design and creativity.
Feature writing by Oregon State University students and faculty; edited by Tom Strini. During my WR 449: Critical Reviewing class I acted as both writer and editor during alternating weeks for reviews. This was during my spring 2017 term from April-June.
