Hello, I'm Lyss! I am a creative, innovative, and dynamic writer, editor, and researcher.
I have cultivated my editorial skills through many diverse experiences; I am a BA degree holder in English Literary and Textual Studies from York College of Pennsylvania, an MA degree holder in Literature and Culture from the University of Hertfordshire, and have sat as an editor on many different publications ranging from journalistic to creative. From being an Editorial Intern at Graphis Inc. to serving as a juror many times over for Scholastic's South Central Pennsylvania Writing Contests, my journey has been robust.
As Lead Copyeditor of my college campus' literary magazine and newspaper, I was able to showcase my versatility in journalistic, opinion, and creative writing pieces--published both in print and online. As an editor at multiple publishers, I've mastered working under tight deadlines and in fast-paced environments.
