Hi there - My name is Lucy! I love sports journalism and hope to pursue my passion to become a job in the future. I am currently a student, and I am working on a number of projects in the Journalism sector. I am currently working on 2000 word essay titled 'Are women's footballers treated differently in the mainstream media and in the junior player development setting?' , I have finished the writing stage of this but in the editing process working alongside some of the top people in the game. The essay should be available for public readership early next year.
As well as being in Education and doing my essay, I am currently writing on my website, https://offtheballblog.wixsite.com/blog - which I post regular blog articles on, It's all free of charge to view.
I have also had the amazing opportunity to write for the American-based website 'allthingswomensfootball.org' which has a readership worldwide of Women's football fans. The articles I have worked on for there have been- 'The Euro Effect' which looks at the impact the Euro's had on women's football as a whole in the UK. As well as 'Player Pregnancy Leave' which followed reports of how terrible conditions where kept for players having children. These articles took a long time to work on, but I love the results of them.

In the future I hope to become a professional sports journalist in women's football (and in an even better world for my club, Arsenal- which I could tell you inside and out about!)
