I am a full-time professional writer, sometime international development worker and constant wanderer. Two years ago I gave up my stable job working as a political staffer in Australia, packed my life up and bought a one-way ticket to Central America. After finding myself in charge of a grass-roots NGO on the shores of a volcanic crater lake in Nicaragua, I eventually made it via South America to South East Asia, where I am now travelling, writing and volunteering in a hope to work out what it means to make the world a better place.
