Concerts on the Creek returning this Friday in Sylva

Concerts on the Creek will present the Ryle Holler Boys this Friday, May 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bridge Park outdoor venue in downtown Sylva. "I am excited for the concerts to start back this year," said WCU student Lindsey Collier. "I went several times last summer and enjoyed it.

The Locust Honey String Band jammed with locals

The Locust Honey String Band was welcomed at WCU on March 7 for the First Thursday Old-Time Bluegrass Jam Series in the Mountain Heritage Center. Locust Honey performed for an intimate crowed, playing some original songs and cover songs, both featured on their new album "He Ain't No Good."
