I was both the Creative Nonfiction and Poetry Editor of Phoenix (Vol. 36), Clark College's annual art and literary journal. After being published in 2016, this volume of Phoenix became one of the highest awarded journals Clark College has ever produced.
The SecretDiaries Project seeks to publish the journals of Robert McCallum, a distinguished builder, social figure, and world traveler of the late Victorian and early Edwardian periods. During my internship, I researched McCallum's 1933 diaries to write an introduction and footnotes to engage readers in the historical content of his daily life.

Five years in the making, "Devil's Piano Man" is the compilation of my interests in writing and U.S. history. The linked document is the newest edition of my story, since I have edited the piece after its publication in Washington's Emerging Writers.
“Thunder Inside” was my first published piece of writing, appearing in the 36th volume of Clark College’s literary journal, Phoenix. I was experimenting with creative nonfiction, and writing this made me fall in love with the form.
Poetry
My second edition of "Language is a virus," published by Z Publishing House.
My original version of "Language Is a Virus," published by University of Washington's literary journal, Bricolage, Issue 36.
