J. C. Thomas (any/all)

Film & Theatre Storyteller

United States

"Josh" (often credited as J. C. Thomas) is a queer award-winning producer, director, writer, and technical artist for film and theatre. Above all, he is a writer first. Although his works often shift between drama and horror genres, each of Josh's stories follows characters in the middle of difficult true-to-life transitions. In a way, everything they produce is a "coming-of-age," no matter the age of the characters.

Josh began professional filmmaking, shooting shoestring-budget music videos out of high school. From there, he began studying theatre at Florida School of the Arts in his small hometown of Palatka. Josh then moved to Orlando where he committed to writing and producing film and theatre.

He is currently pursuing his M.A. in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University.
