Lions in Whitefish, Montana, wanted to start a special project that gave back to the community while addressing issues such as childhood obesity and diabetes. They started a farm-to-school garden that has brought the entire community together while teaching children and families the importance of healthy eating.
More than a billion people are on Facebook, and the average American spends 2.5 hours on mobile devices every day. People are connecting in new ways, which means there are new opportunities for your club to connect with service-minded citizens.
The key to keeping your Lions club healthy and thriving is membership satisfaction. Members who are happy will continue serving their community with Lions clubs. Strengthen your club's membership by identifying and addressing common problems that often lead to dissatisfaction.
