She graduated from Covenant College with a B.A. in English and has since pursued work surrounding her love for words and good design. She also has experience in graphic design and website management, fluent in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.

Ellen has worked in a variety of roles, including as a ghostwriter and researcher for Indianapolis think tank Sagamore Institute, a marketing communications coordinator for Midwest Center for Joint Replacement, a copyeditor for Elite Editing, and head writer & managing editor for the Heritage Christian School marketing department.
