Music festivals are losing their essence

I will preface this piece by saying that, as someone who lives and breathes music, I have found my home in music festivals, and would never pass up the opportunity to attend one. In particular, Lollapalooza, Chicago's annual four-day music extravaganza, is one of the highlights of my summer.

Jesse Rutherford's new sound is a departure from The Neighbourhood

Neighbourhood frontman Jesse Rutherford strays from the established band sound with November solo album "&." We're dealing with a mixed bag of an album. The record is drastically different from past Neighbourhood albums, but is simultaneously eccentric and fresh. Rutherford is clearly attempting to develop a more individualistic body of work.
