REDress Project Demands Contemplation at UofT

From March 16th to March 22nd, the University of Toronto played host to Jaimie Black's REDress Project art installation. Red dresses hung from trees to serve as a reminder of the 12,000 missing and murdered Indigenous women across North America. As of late March, the dresses have remained hanging in their locations of installation.

New university policy draft spells stronger support for victims of sexual violence

In the face of the recently instated Sexual Violence Policy Act, the University of Toronto has released its new Sexual Violence Policy draft. Key changes to the way assault and harassment have been handled in the past include the introduction of the Sexual Violence and Prevention Centre, which will serve as a centralized and standardized system for reporting, triage, and support.
