The Jungle Giants at the Historic Croxton Bandroom

The Jungle Giants completely sold out their Used To Be In Love Tour throughout Australia. The quartet smashed out a high intensity set at the iconic Croxton Band-room in Melbourne. Built in 1844, bands such as ACDC, Rose Tattoo, INXS and Midnight Oil have made their mark at the venue and on the 18th of April, it was The Jungle Giants'turn.

They are hidden from the main esplanade in Mt Martha and were a mission to find. In the peak of summertime, visitors could spend the day there and only come across one other person.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world, a family of four live in a rural, desolate area communicating with each other only through sign language. Their tense existence relies on remaining silent, fearful that the slightest wrong move or sounds means instantaneous death.

Melburnians are constantly confronted with the issue whilst walking through the city, and as the nights get colder, it is becoming increasingly crucial for homeless people to find shelter.

Hockey Dad band's ground breaking performance (literally)

Australian duo Hockey Dad returned to the Corner Hotel on the 22nd of March to promote their ARIA nominated sophomore album Blend Inn. The album debuted at number six on the ARIA Album Charts this year. This was their 4th show at the Corner Hotel this year out of a completely sold out Australian tour.
