Cierra Peterson is a graduate from the University of South Carolina. She received her Bachelors Degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.
Peterson has worked with social media professionally since 2014 when she was hired as a social media intern for the City of Columbia. After nearly a year of working with the City of Columbia Peterson went on to work with the Minority Business Development Agency as a Social Media Specialist. Her most recent relevant experience includes working as a Public Relations assistant for Queen Communications and association management company.
In addition to work experience Peterson also volunteered as a social media assistant for Columbia Fashion Week and does freelance website design.
