James Muturi

Football writer, analyst and fan

Kenya

I love Sports, I am fascinated by athletes and coaches. Since I was little all I can remember is how good I felt when that Tshabalala goal went in or when David Rudisha broke the world record in the 800m in London. I couldn't be an athlete but I could be the next best thing, a football writer.

I started my own blog (https://rantbybrant.blogspot.com/) in 2022 and have been writing about both local football as well as International leagues and tournaments. I also write for other sites including Backpagefootball.com and thepitchview.com. I describe my writing as opinionated, insightful and analytical. I want my readers to not only be entertained but also informed.

Sports fans are more informed than ever and as such the bar keeps on rising. Join me in this little journey and hopefully you'll enjoy my pieces, one article at a time.
