A'Yanna graduated from Goucher College with a B.A. in Russian and Spanish in spring 2022 and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Slavic languages and literatures. Their interests include folk/popular cultures, media and comparative marginalization within the regions of Eurasia and Latin America, as well as language revitalization and preservation.
