Art Tavana is the award-winning journalist and author of 'Goodbye, Guns N' Roses.'

His byline has appeared in The Village Voice, VICE, Billboard, Pitchfork, Paste, The A.V. Club, Longform, Spin, USA Today, Consequence, The Hollywood Reporter, and as a columnist at Playboy and L.A. Weekly, where he won an L.A. Press Club Award in 2017.

Art's writing was featured in a chapter of Bret Easton Ellis's first collection of essays, 'White.' His work has been discussed/critiqued by CNN, Business Insider, Nylon, Politico, The Week, Spin, BuzzFeed, Los Angeles Magazine, Teen Vogue, Refinery29, The Guardian, and the New York Times.

Art is a PhD at USC (in progress). He earned his MFA in Creative Writing at UC Davis (2023), where he taught English and creative writing.
