Angela Daniels leads the communications strategy for Panasonic North America’s Office of Social Impact & Inclusion. In this role, Angela oversees the storytelling and digital content creation for the corporation’s social impact strategy, events, and partnerships across North America. Angela develops tailored communications plans that drive engagement, shape Panasonic’s social impact narrative, and builds communities.
In addition to her role at the corporate level, Angela also leads communications for The Panasonic Foundation’s philanthropic efforts nationally. She highlights the intersections of these works on social media using #PanasonicCares.
Angela’s brand management, public relations, and social media expertise are proven to make audiences return for more. Determined to utilize her strong communications skillset to impact her community, Angela previously served as Press Officer & Social Media Manager for the City of Newark. She also worked in the financial sector as Public Relations and Social Media Manager for Jackson Hewitt Tax Company, Inc.
Angela currently sits on the board of SocialMedia.Org, the community for social media leaders at the world’s greatest brands. She earned a mini-MBA in social media marketing from the Rutgers Executive Business school, a master’s degree in public administration, and a bachelor’s in communications from Kean University where she also became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., the nation’s third oldest Black Greek-letter organization for women.
