I currently write around topics of business sustainability, EU internet governance and online communities of trust.

In the past I reported from tech conferences, summarized complex studies regarding technology & society, interviewed key players involved in Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) and Online Trust communities, as well as lead informative campaigns around different European legislative initiatives.

In the present I am a freelancing journalist for the Danish think-tank DataEthics.eu, a member of the editorial team in the European NGO SEEDIG and the director of the board in the Danish NGO Opt In 4 Privacy.

On top of written content, I am public speaker for events as re:publica and Digital-Born Media Carnival.

I have a BSc in Business Management from University of Essex and a MSc in Business Administration and Philosophy from Copenhagen Business School.

Dieter Carstensen: LEGO @ European Data Ethics Forum

Dieter Carstensen is the Head of Digital Child Safety at LEGO, Danish construction toy manufacturer. During the European Data Ethics Forum, Dieter spoke about LEGO's active taken in order to protect children's online privacy, but also the challenges arising with the implementation of GDPR.

Evelyn Ruppert: Citizen Data App - European Data Ethics Forum

The first keynote of the European Data Ethics Forum was Evelyn Ruppert, Professor of Sociology at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her talk focused on the ways in which statistics make sense of society, new paradigms of rethinking citizen data and broadening the notion of ethics.
