Hi, I'm Alison! I help companies maximize their social media presence and engage with online communities.
I am a marketing professional located in the Boston, MA area and specialize in social media, content, and digital marketing. In addition to my experience in the IT/software industry as a Social Media Specialist and Marketing Lead, I also have over 6 years of retail experience. I am extremely passionate about all aspects of online marketing and have a demonstrated history of running successful paid social media campaigns, managing global content calendars, and implementing scalable demand generation programs.

Barbara Hughey is the coordinator of the Women's Technology Program in Mechanical Engineering (WTP-ME) at MIT, a four week summer program for high school junior girls that teaches the basic principles and ideas of mechanical engineering.
Gaby Rochino is the CEO and co-founder of Think Like a Girl engineering kits; a monthly kit for girls ages 6-12+ that teaches them the fundamentals of engineering. The kit is targeted towards girls, not by making them pink and purple, but with subjects and activities that will actually interest them.
Jennifer Herron is an entrepreneur and CEO of her own company, author, seminar speaker, SWUGN member, and most importantly, an engineer with expertise in model-based CAD. Her dedication and contributions to the engineering community has also made her a SOLIDWORKS Women in Engineering recipient!
Marnee started off her career as a project manager, but after getting involved in her husband's business, she recognized that representatives in the manufacturing industry can, and need to help smaller businesses grow within New England. "I feel engineering, manufacturing, and technology to be completely stimulating and just exactly where I want to be.
"I've been attending user group meetings for nearly ten years, and I still learn something new every time. Meetings are a great way to see how other professionals are using the software without barging into their office and getting thrown out by security. Lesson learned.
Who decides what's new in SOLIDWORKS? Product Definition team members are a major component in determining and defining enhancements and new functionality included within the SOLIDWORKS products each year. They meet face-to-face with SOLIDWORKS customers to discuss what's working, what isn't, and what they would like to see in the future.
