PROVIDENCE - Statewide in this year's presidential election, which featured record turnout, Democrat Joe Biden resoundingly defeated Republican Donald Trump, 285,425 to 189,544 votes, or 58.9% to 39.1%, according to unofficial results posted on the Rhode Island Board of Elections site.
