Barry McGee at the ICA

On a recent night at the Institute of Contemporary Art, a security guard ventured into an upstairs showroom only to find someone positioned on the upper rungs of a ladder. At first the guard panicked, thinking the shadowy figure might be an intruder, before realizing it was an automaton - a prop in an exhibition opening to the public Saturday.

House of Blues 'tagging'

Members of artist Barry McGee's crew rendered an artwork on the outside of the House of Blues, 15 Lansdowne St., Thursday. The work was done in conjunction with McGee's mid-career survey exhibition, which opens April 6 at the Institute of Contemporary Art.

A Blind Gay Date
