Canishka Stuart-Alexander

Freelance Writer

Bahamas

Hello. My name is Canishka Stuart-Alexander, and I have been writing for most of my life (since the age of 8 to be exact). However, on a professional level, I have been writing for more than 15 years. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Abilene Christian University in 2001. Currently, I am pursuing an online master's degree in business and theology to compliment my writing skills and eventually develop my own company. I am frequently engaged in freelance writing for local magazines and publications in The Bahamas, and my work experience also includes working for a television network called the Bahamas Christian Network (BCN). Nevertheless, my desire is to enhance and improve my existing writing skills, so I am interested in gaining more exposure through international writing assignments. I am also an amateur photographer and videographer/video editor, and hope to refine these skills as well. At the end of the day, though, writing is my first love and my daily passion!
