Bilingual Writer, Spanish Interpreter and Translator

United States of America

I am a native Spanish speaker with vast writing and PR experience. I hold a Master of Arts in Journalism from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. I am also a State Certified Spanish Interpreter and Translator in New Jersey by the Administrative Office of the Courts.

I currently work as a freelance writer, interpreter and translator for a number of clients in both the US and Mexico. In the past, I worked as a community coordinator and translator at the music technology website OurStage and its sister site MTV DEMO. During that time, I managed the accounts based in Latin America and was in charge of the translation and localization of the entire site. I also authored blogs in both English and Spanish.

Before joining OurStage, I worked as a PR and Marketing Associate at a nonprofit in Boston, where I was in charge of writing materials in both English and Spanish.
