We've all been there at one time or another. You see a parent doing something, saying something, or allowing something that, please insert heavy southern accent here, "W hy, I would just never!" Well, I had one of those moments this summer. It was completely out of the blue for me.

So, mamas: It happened to me over winter break. The dreadful moment when you and the kids are sick at the exact same time and you realize you didn't make it to the grocery store. It never fails.
You've carried him or her in your belly for 9 months, dreaming about the day your little bundle of joy will arrive! You've been able to feel every hiccup, thump, and kick. Each night while you try to find a comfortable position, you are constantly aware of the precious life growing inside you.
So you're expecting! Great! Except its not your first. You're due with baby 2. It's supposed to be a time of joy and excitement, except all you keep hearing is: "It's going to be tough juggling the responsibilities of more than one child!" "You're oldest will be so jealous!"
There's nothing like officially becoming that mom while your child runs out of the library with only one shoe on. Never fear, mamas of tiny manic terrors, you're not alone in your battle! The struggle is real. I too have one of those kids who make other parents, grandparents, and the kid-less stare in awe and shook all while shaking their judgmental heads.
Holidays
Few names are remembered through the ages of time, but among those names that are carried over the generations, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has to be one of my favorites. This enduring name belonged to a timeless man whose messages resonated not just during his generation but are held solid even today.
Can you believe it's 2015? I still feel like the impending Y2K disaster (that didn't happen) was just the other day! Yesterday you heard from some of our contributors about their New Year's resolutions, and from one who doesn't make resolutions at all. I'm somewhere in the middle.
